My first cutover was crazy! The hotel was not prepared. They were supposed to have all of the profiles, LNR's, balance forwards, and walk-ins done by the middle of the day so that we could start night audit at 6pm. Haha. By the time the final night audit in Encore (legacy PMS) was finished, it was 1am. Finally Dee & I were able to go in and start the rate download and the reservation download. That wasn't finished until 6am! The wires to the server were a mess and that caused a headache. Adam (interface guy) and the hotel's IT guy were fixing the crossover cables, while we had strung cables across the front office. It was a mess.
