Meredith called me and told me that Michael Weger, the older brother of my good friend Mark, had been killed in Iraq when his humvee had been hit with an explosive device. My heart hurt thinking about my Mark and his parents who I love so much. The Weger family is one of the best families I know. I grew up with Mark giving me a hard time all of the time, Mr. Weger making barbeque and Mrs. Weger coming to all of our band trips. Michael was a good man and his son is so cute. May God be with the Weger family.
