What is in the bucket?
The bucket is where the hotel keeps all the registration cards that the guest sign when they check in and any other important information on the guests (i.e. tax exempt forms, credit card authorizations, coupons, etc...) Every shift the front desk staff has to do a "bucket check" to make sure that the manual house equals the computer just in case...
